Lamego Museum has 5 paintings that were part of a set of 20 in its collection, which were commissioned from Vasco Fernandes, the Viseu painter, by the bishop of Lamego in the 16th century.

Classified as National Treasures, the 5 panels that have survived are an excellent testimony to the genius of the painter, who fascinated successive generations with the realism of his expression.
