This is how “The Painter’s Angel” begins, the second of the children’s book collection dedicated to the monuments of the Varosa Valley. The story finds its inspiration in the famous panels of the Santo António de Ferreirim Convent, painted by Cristóvão de Figueiredo, Garcia Fernandes and Gregório Lopes, commonly known as the Masters of Ferreirim.
A journey guided by the angel through the eight tablets painted in the 16th century. “The Painter’s Angel” is part of the National Reading Plan.
